Rules and Safety Regulations: Walk-Off Hitting and Pitching Facility
Safety Rules and Regulations:
- All participants must wear appropriate protective gear, including helmets when in batting cages.
- Only one batter and one pitcher are allowed in a batting cage at a time unless otherwise authorized.
- Pitchers must use pitching screens provided by the facility.
- No one is allowed to stand behind or next to the batter or pitcher while they are practicing.
- No horseplay or running inside the facility. All players must conduct themselves in a disciplined and safe manner.
- Coaches are responsible for ensuring that all team participants understand and follow safety rules.
- Any damage to equipment or facility caused by negligence or misuse will be the responsibility of the coach/renter.
- Machine use (if applicable) must not exceed 80mph for 12+; or 65mph below the age of 12.
Liability Waivers:
- The facility requires a signed liability waiver for each individual player using the facility.
- If an individual player does not have a signed liability waiver on file, the coach or renter assumes full responsibility and liability for that player.
- The parent/player agree to indemnify and hold harmless the facility, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the facility by any participant without a signed waiver.
Use of Facility:
- The facility is to be used exclusively for baseball/softball training purposes.
- The coach/renter is responsible for ensuring that the facility is left in a clean and orderly condition after use.
- The facility reserves the right to terminate this contract and request the coach/renter and their participants to vacate the premises immediately if safety rules are violated or if behavior is deemed inappropriate.
Emergency Procedures:
The coach/renter must be familiar with the facility’s emergency procedures and ensure that all participants are aware of these procedures. In case of an emergency, the coach/renter must immediately notify the facility staff and follow all instructions provided by emergency personnel.
